The 10-year Operation & Maintenance (O&M) contract for the Bahr El Baqr Water Treatment Plant, launched in December 2021, covers a facility with a capacity of 5.6 million m³/day. Recognized by Guinness World Records as the world’s largest water treatment plant, this landmark project plays a pivotal role in enhancing resource utilization in the Sinai Peninsula. The plant will support land reclamation and irrigation for approximately 475,000 feddans, driving sustainable agricultural and economic development in the region.
