For automated and continuous water softening in industrial settings with strict hygienic standards, utilize a duplex softener. It has one brine tank, one Clack main control valve, and one monodisperse quality exchange resin per pressure tank. Regeneration is controlled by volume or time. Microbial contamination is decreased since there is no stagnation of water during operation because both pressure tanks are being filled simultaneously.

                                                            The unit may only be used for softening feed water of drinking water quality or appropriately pre-treated well or surface water.
