In industrial applications, the sensor-controlled duplex softener is utilized to automatically and continuously soften water. Due to salt and water savings, sensor operation results in a significant decrease in running expenses in the situation of varying raw water hardness. The apparatus has a brine tank, a SENSOTROL microprocessor controller, one Siata central control valve per pressure tank, and monodisperse quality exchange resin. Regeneration can be adjusted by volume, time, or sensors. The system is offered in a liquid brine variant starting with size 2000. Additionally, all sizes are optionally offered in PP version and with a Profinet interface.
