Description
the company works in the field of air gas packing, using the cooling tower to cool compressors during the liquefaction process, and using river Nile city water with total hardness up to 180 ppm as ca co3 as makeup water the maximum conc. The cycle for this type of water is 2.5 cycles.
Solution :
apply (IX) ion exchange resin softener for city water ROI by changing the makeup water from city water to softened water, and lowering the blowdown rate we can increase conc. cycle from 2.5 to 4
