Natural water contains varying concentrations of hardness-producing chemicals. Our softener uses the lon Exchange process to create water with "Zero" hardness.
Water softeners are specialized ion exchangers that are designed to remove positively charged ions.
Softeners are primarily used to remove calcium (Ca2+) and magnesium (Mg2+) ions. Calcium and magnesium are referred to as 'hardness minerals'. Softeners are occasionally used to eliminate iron. The softening devices may remove up to five milligrams of dissolved iron per litre (5 mg/L). Softeners can be operated on an automatic, semi-automatic, or manual basis. Each type is evaluated according to how much hardness it can remove before requiring regeneration.
A water softener accumulates hardness minerals in its conditioning tank and flushes them away to drain on a regular basis. Ion exchangers are frequently employed in water softening. When an ion exchange is used to soften water, it replaces the calcium and magnesium ions in the water with other ions such as sodium or potassium. The exchanger ions are introduced as sodium and potassium salts (NaCl and KCl) to the ion exchanger reservoir.

What is the purpose of a water softening plant?
  1. Water softening procedures are often one of the following.
  2. Treatment with soda lime.
  3. Based on ion exchange resin.
  4. Filtration at the nanoscale.
  5. Osmosis in reverse.
  6. Over a wide pH range, it is effective.
