The detection principle of the TAN-300 in-situ ammonia nitrogen analyzer is mainly based on Nessler reagent spectrophotometry and improved on this basis: ammonia nitrogen in the form of free ammonia or ammonium ions in the water sample reacts with Nessler reagent to produce light reddish brown The absorbance of the complex is proportional to the ammonia nitrogen content, and the absorbance is measured at a wavelength of 420 nm. Through the online monitoring of ammonia nitrogen in the water, the instrument can provide users with continuous and stable monitoring data required for water quality investigation, water environment monitoring, and early warning of ecological disasters.
It has the advantages of low power consumption, small size, and easy portability. It can be integrated into buoys, multi-parameter monitoring systems, or run on ships, shore-based deployment, etc. to achieve unattended online monitoring.
