A pressure-driven membrane separation technique called ultrafiltration clears water of suspended or particulate materials, such as silt and colloids. Compared to traditional multimedia filtration, which eliminates particles 10 microns or bigger, ultrafiltration is more dependable. Most viruses and bacteria are also effectively eliminated by ultrafiltration.
Multimedia filters and clarifiers are no longer necessary with ultrafiltration systems. A UF module with an outside-in flow arrangement is the foundation of the standard design, enabling easier cleaning, larger solids loading, higher flow area, and less clogging. Advanced 3D computer modeling and process design software are used in the engineering of Aquacomponents' whole range of standard and fully configurable ultrafiltration systems.
