What is UF? 

Solutions can be separated and purified using ultrafiltration (UF), a membrane separation technique. A device for separating solutions, the ultrafiltration membrane system uses pressure differences on both sides of the membrane as its driving force and ultrafiltration membrane wire as the filter medium.
