The differences between special and regular pressure gauges are discussed. To accommodate unique settings or exact measurement requirements, a customized pressure gauge's pressure range can be modified and calibrated. A unique pressure gauge incorporates a temperature indication within the panel design to satisfy the demands of particular industrial or research applications. Ordinary pressure gauges are typically employed in the basic industrial water treatment process, but special pressure gauges are made for particular application settings and needs, such those found in the food, biopharmaceutical, and other high-demand industries.
The structure of Special Pressure Gauges
Press the dial.
To visually read data, a circular disk with several pressure unit scales is frequently used in conjunction with a pointer.
A hint. The dial that shows the pressure reading is fixed above and is linked to the sector gear chain.
Bourdon tube. The C-shaped or spiral metal tube serves as the foundation for monitoring pressure changes by converting the recorded pressure into deformation inside the Bourdon tube.
Last component. the Bourdon tube's free end that is attached to the transmission mechanism. The maximum displacement is produced by the free end of the Bourdon tube when its internal pressure varies.
Link. It links the Bourdon tube's free end to the pointer mechanism, allowing the pointer to rotate in response to even slight bending of the tube.
Rack and sector gear. The rack amplifies linear motion and transforms it into rotating motion of the pointer stem with pressure connector by meshing with the sector gear and connecting to the free end of the Bourdon tube. It permits pressure to be transferred from the connection point to the Bourdon tube, supports the connection joint, and connects the pressure gauge to the pressure source.
Operational Concept
The pressure inside the Bourdon tube will force the tube wall to distort when the pressure from the tested system is transferred to it via the pressure gauge's interface. Typically, the pointer mechanism is attached to one closed end of the Bourdon tube.
The closed end of the Bourdon tube will cause displacement when it deforms. Through the use of a mechanical linkage system that includes a sector gear and a rack, the displacement is transformed into the rotational motion of the pointer. The pointer then points to a particular value on the dial that indicates the pressure inside the Bourdon tube.
