What is Filter Media Bio Cord ?
A man-made bioreactor called Bio-Cord uses microbial activity to drain off management and stop water pollution in rivers, lakes, marshes, and oceans. At first glance, Bio-Cord appears to be a straightforward cord composed of polymers like nylon-polyester, vinylon, polyvinylidene-chloride, polypropylene, or binylon, covered in an endless number of rings of thread. Thus, a variety of microbes can grow in a symbiotic culture bed thanks to its special qualities.
Based on biological ropes, braided ribbon fillers are used to make curtain fillers. While braided belt type filler fiber filter material mimics the shape of natural water plants and is an environmentally friendly bioactive filler with good water purification efficiency, it is difficult to contain stored sludge. The modified fiber biological rope exhibits a multitude of desirable properties, including high biological activity, high mass transfer efficiency, strong adsorption capacity, hydrophilicity, oleophilicity, bubble-cutting effect, oxygen storage function, and ease of installation.
The treatment of organic industrial wastewater with varying concentrations (chemical, wool spinning, printing and dyeing, tanning, paper making, pharmaceutical, food, and other industries) and the restoration of micro-polluted water bodies like rivers, lakes, ponds, and landscapes in anaerobic, anoxic, and aerobic environments are among the applications for braided belt filler.
How to use Filter Media Bio Cord :
Upon manufacturing, Bio-Cord is slightly positive when it leaves the factory. It draws in microbes, which are naturally slightly negatively charged, when submerged in water. The microorganisms are drawn to the Bio-Cord's structure as well. As a result, microorganisms prefer to live and grow on Bio-Cord media. The microorganisms carry out biodegradation while adhering to the threads. An anaerobic step is included in the three-step process for optimal solids removal (instantaneous breakdown).

The characteristics of Filter Media Bio Cord
  1. Film hanging can reach 15-20g/L, which has a higher organic load and is 5–6 times higher than traditional fillers.
  2. Sludge reduction is greater than 40% when compared to conventional activated sludge.
  3. With a nitrogen removal rate of 80–90%, synchronous nitrification and denitrification have positive effects and a strong denitrification ability.
  4. possesses strong adsorption capacity, lipophilicity, hydrophilicity, quick film formation, and ease of film removal.
  5.  It is easy to use with other equipment and is lightweight, inexpensive to purchase, has a long service life, requires little maintenance, and is convenient to install.
Advantages of Filter Media Bio Cord
  •  Simple to use and oversee.
  • Slow-proliferating microorganisms are able to sustain high concentrations.
  • Minimize the amount of surplus sludge produced.
  • extended service life, impact resistance, and large specific surface area.
  • possesses good mass transfer effect and resistance to acids and alkalis.
  • High strength, high density, fast reaction times, good wear resistance, superior ventilation, and heat exchange efficiency;
  • does not need to be cleaned frequently because the cords can discharge accumulated solids while still in motion and using gravity.
  • An ecologically friendly system is one that has been properly designed.
  • Because of its adaptability, the Bio-Cord system can be integrated into new or existing recirculation systems, enabling site-specific.
