A horizontal screw centrifuge is a type of mechanical apparatus for centrifugal settling-based continuous separation of suspensions including density differences. The centrifuge used by our organization can separate, dehydrate, or clarify suspensions with solid particles that range in size from 0.002 to 3 mm and have a concentration between 0.5 and 40%. It can be classified into two types: LWS three-phase horizontal decanter centrifuge and LW two-phase horizontal decanter centrifuge, depending on the material properties.

Characteristics of Horizontal Screw Centrifuge

All components that could come into touch with the material are composed of high-quality, high-strength austenitic stainless steel or duplex stainless steel, which has outstanding corrosion resistance and has undergone numerous stress-relief processes.
The drum BODy has a wide angle drum cone construction, a high spinning speed, and a large aspect ratio.
The screw pusher is produced using a unique molding technique with minimal deformation of the blade and screw pitch. The screw pushing surface uses unique anti-wear techniques including spraying and welding cemented carbide or embedding wear-resistant cemented carbide sheets, making it corrosion- and wear-resistant and extending its lifespan.
The differential system performs consistently. The planetary gear or cycloidal pinwheel differential is typically used in this series of centrifuge differentials.It can also be fitted with a complete hydraulic differential system, depending on the requirements. While hydraulic differential systems typically use international brands, mechanical differentials typically use well-known domestic brands. The differential offers excellent performance, high manufacturing accuracy, and dependable operation.
The liquid pool has grown deeper thanks to the horizontal decanter centrifuge with BD baffle. It can effectively separate some difficult-to-separate materials and concentrate and dehydrate various primary sedimentation sludge and residual activated sludge in varying quantities.
To achieve stepless speed regulation, the main motor and the auxiliary motor are controlled by a frequency converter, which has a wide range of material adaptability and ease of debugging.
The centrifuge uses cutting-edge processing technologies and an acceptable tolerance control system. The centrifuge features imported SKF bearings and a double rotor with precision dynamic balancing. As a result, when the centrifuge (national standard excellent grade) leaves the factory, the vibration of the bearings at both ends is limited to 2.5mm/s.
