Working principle of Multi Disc Screw Press: 
The screw shaft travels through a filtering mechanism that is constructed by stacking a fixed ring and a moving ring in the stacked screw dehydrator. The concentration area is in the front, while the dehydration section is at the back. From the thickening section to the dehydrating part, the filter gap that formed between the fixed ring and the moving ring and the pitch of the screw shaft steadily shrank. The swimming ring is continuously driven by the rotation of the screw shaft, which also cleans the filter joints to prevent clogging as the sludge is pushed from the thickening to the dehydrating portion.

The capacity of the QY-SPD series screw press sludge dewatering machine can be readily enlarged through parallel operation system due to its modular design and compact structure to satisfy the treatment of diverse sludges with variable capacities. The movable plate of the multi-disc screw press is continuously moved relative to the fixed plate while the screw shaft rotates, realizing a continuous self-cleaning operation and avoiding the typical clogging issue of conventional dehydrators.
