Description
The Multi-Disk Screw press (MDS) is a sludge dewatering machine of solid-liquid separator, which Screw Press Type can realize the Sludge dewatering or Sludge Dehydrator effect. The wastewater sludge is thickened and dewatered progressively along with Volute Screw Press sludge dewatering the movement of the free rings, and ending with the rotary filter Screw Press plate. The sludge dewatering equipment's special tungsten carbide coating of the inner screw and the sludge dewatering system's slow rotation eliminates the friction effect and assures the dewatering screw has a long life span of the parts. The Sewage Treatment sludge dewatering machine system of filtrate is drained from the gaps between the rings, which differs from the sludge thickening and the sludge dewatering zones. The sludge cake is discharged at the end plate, achieving a minimum solid content of 20%. The MDS Screw Press dehydrator makes it a self-cleaning unit due to the friction-free movement between the rings, applicable for a wide range of sludge concentrations (2000 mg/L – 50000 mg/L), and it’s most suitable for oily sludge treatment plants, and the sludge dewatering unit.
Screw Press Structure Principle
Screw Sludge dehydrator Layers of spacers, fixed and free rings are secured in place by rods. The volute screw press inner diameter of the tree rings is slightly smaller than the screw major diameter, laying on the screw crest & continuously moving up and down following the screw Press rotation, & creating multi disk screw press self-cleaning effect.
Sludge Dewatering Principle
The screw Press pitch & the zone in between becomes smaller towards the end plate of the sludge dewatering machine, which gives pressure to dewater the sludge.
Sludge Dewatering Zone
The sludge Dewatering drum is comprised of sludge thickening interlaminated fixed rings and moving rings. Sludge Filtrate is discharged from the gaps between the rings and dewatering wastewater treatment.
Clog-free Structure
Volute dewatering press Moving rings are mobilized by the Screw Press to prevent clogging.
Screw Press Cylinder Check Point
Screw Press sludge dewatering Machine With a unique one-button quick opening design, the volute dewatering press is easy to operate, the operator can observe the internal operation of the sludge machine at any time, check the sludge thickening and dewatering effect of each section, and adjust the Sludge dehydrator setting in time.
Screw Press Ring for Reference
A screw press machine of a special ring is positioned in each zone as a reference for comparison to observe the rings and to schedule the overhauling intervention after exceeding the theoretical lifespan of the sludge dewatering system.
Pre-Sludge thickening Structure in Flocculation Tank
The pre-Sludge thickening structure is an optional module in the flocculation tank to improve Sludge treatment capacity. With it, sludge can be thickened in the flocculation tank; the Screw press machine capacity can be improved by more than 50% when the sludge dewatering screw press machine is dealing with sludge with low concentration (about/less than 1%).
