Multi-media filters are designed to enhance water quality by effectively removing organic and inorganic particles smaller than 5 μm. These pressure filters are filled with high-quality quartz sand and anthracite media, leveraging the porous adsorption of anthracite for efficient contaminant removal. Compared to single-media filters, they offer greater dirt-holding capacity and improved performance.
With their simple structure, mature technology, and high cost-effectiveness, FDZ multi-media filters are widely used across municipal, industrial, and commercial water treatment applications.
System Design of Multi-Media Filter
The FDZ series consists of one or more standard filter units.
Flow Process: Raw water passes through an internal distributor → filter media layers → water collector, where contaminants are efficiently removed.
Standard Range: Diameters from 32" (800 mm) to 126" (3200 mm), with a general height of 60" (1500 mm).
Custom Options: Units can be tailored for specific requirements. By installing multiple filters in parallel, system capacity can be infinitely expanded.
The FDZ system ensures long-term stable operation, characterized by high flow rates, low-pressure drop, and minimal maintenance requirements.
