Process, well, and drinking water are all filtered using the multi-media filter MFT with Siata main control valve and SFE controller. The filter can function as a sand, iron removal, activated carbon, or multi-media filter, depending on the filter medium. On request, AFM filter medium is also offered. This unit is an automatic single filter system that uses raw water for time-controlled backwashing. Multiple filters can be connected upon request. Using a floating contact, downstream systems can be turned off while backwashing is occurring. It is possible to perform differential pressure controlled backwashing and optional backwashing with filtrate. The filter medium needs to be acquired separately as it is not included.

                                                            In case of higher particle or iron / manganese contents in the raw water, a process engineering design by Herco is mandatory. Particle-free tap water or control air with a pressure of 3 - 4 bar must be used as the control medium

Utilization of MFT Multi-Media Filters

Perfect as a pre-treatment for reverse osmosis and for treating well and service water (especially when combined with AFM filter medium).
Suitable for the removal of particulates, iron, manganese, free chlorine, and organics, depending on the filter medium.
Using an oxidizer appropriate for removing manganese and iron concentrations ranging from mild to high.

Sturdy and adaptable controller.
Filters can be connected in series or parallel, and the design can be customized with a PLC S7-1200 (longer delivery time).
Available in a containerized version.
