To remove dirt particles from open cooling systems, the SF / AFM sand filter, equipped with a Siata main control valve and SFE controller, functions as a side-stream filter for cooling circuits. It is a time-controlled, automatic single filter device that backwashes with raw water. ready for connection, the unit and feed pump are installed on a plastic Euro pallet. An very efficient filter performance with a germ-reducing effect is made possible by the use of AFM glass granulate as the filter media. Differential pressure controlled backwashing and optional backwashing with filtrate are both feasible.

Terms of usage:

The filters are made to discharge filtrate without pressure.
There needs to be an on-site backflow preventer in the filtrate line if filtration is done in a closed circuit.
The control medium needs to be particle-free tap water or control air at a pressure of three to four bars.
