Characteristics of RO membrane scaling

Sokalan RO 100 is a low molar mass polycarboxylate aqueous solution.
Dispersant properties lessen silt and colloidal fouling of membrane surfaces.
Both cellulose acetate RO membranes and thin film composite (polyamide) membranes from top manufacturers are compatible.
In membrane systems that use sodium metabisulfite and chlorine, Sokalan RO 100 can be utilized.
Inhibits scaling of the RO membrane brought on by: Barium sulfate (BaSO₄), coal carbonate (CaCO₃), and sulfate of calcium (CaSO₄)
Chlorine and other oxidizing biocides have no effect on Sokalan RO 100 when used normally.
For aquatic creatures, the product is not acutely poisonous.
