The Seametric Instrument flow meter magnetic is the most affordable flange electromagnetic flowmeter available. It is offered in 4" to 12" pipe for use in municipal or industrial water, waste and reclaimed water, pump stations, and packaging plant applications. The electrodes are made to prevent fouling. (For the3" version, go to the iMAG 4600-300.) Straight pipe needs are minimal. Use flow meter magnetic iMAG in pipe layouts where elbow and meter are close to one another. The IP68-rated electromagnetic flowmeter iMAG 4700 has been authorized by NSF-61 and is suitable for use in situations where it must be submerged continuously for at least 10 feet (3 meters). Rate and total indicator are typical features of the meter-mounted or remote display magmeter, iMAG 4700. The user can adjust the pulse scale, rate, and total units using the touch key pad on the front panel. Forward, backward, and net flow are all standard with bidirectional flow.
An imag water flow meter with a power/output cable enables outputs to be used with a range of Seametrics Inc. USA and other controls and displays for telemetry and remote reading applications. All versions come with a pulse output as standard, and the iMAG 4700p has a 4–20 mA passive current loop as usual. Modbus® protocol, high-speed digital, HART protocol, and 4-20 mA loop outputs are optional for the externally powered units, depending on the type.
