The treated water is kept in the rectangular tank at atmospheric pressure. It is made of opaque black HD-PE that is hot-dip galvanized, has connections for the inlet, outlet, and overflow, and a manhole with a lid. It complies with the KSW recommendation for drinking water installations and the KTW guideline for home installations. Optionally available connection sets include those for withdrawal and those for connecting multiple tanks to increase storage capacity.
Guidelines for Use:

  • Treating water with a conductivity more than 1 μS/cm at atmospheric pressure is appropriate for storage in rectangular tanks.
  • It is necessary to install on a horizontal, even, and flat surface.
  • The maximum allowable inflow and withdrawal flows are decreased upon installing CO2 absorption filters or sterile aeration filters in the tank.
  • This holds true even if connection kits are used for the withdrawal.

Operating temperature 0 – 35 °C
Diameter manhole 400 mm

Utilization of RET Rectangular Tanks
  1. Storage of demineralized, soft, permeate, and treated water (conductivity > 1 μS/cm)

Advantages of RET Rectangular Tanks

  1. Little footprint as a result of the rectangular shape
  2. Black polyethylene polymer tanks, which are physiologically inert and comply with BfW guideline III, provide greater UV stabilization for the protection of stored commodities.
  3. Several tanks can be easily connected together with the optional connection kits.
