Glass fused to steel tank with double membrane
Glass-Fused-to-Steel (GFS) tanks with double membranes are widely used for biogas-related plants, for the double membrane has the best property of air tightness. Biogas can be produced in many ways like treating food waste, animal dung and etc. Recycling those waste through the process of anaerobic digestion is not only environmentally sustainable but also cost-effective.
GFS Tanks from Wansheng meet the following standards:
• AWWA-D103-09
• EN15282-2007
• ISO 28765:2016
• GB 50017 2003
• NSF61
• AS 1657-2013 Fixed platforms walkways stairways and ladders
• AS NZS 1170.2-2011 Amdt 2-2012 Structural design actions - Wind actions
• AS 1170-2007 Structural design actions -Earthquake actions in Australia

Main Application of  Integrated Membrane Roof
Biogas Production
Biogas produced from AD that has been cleaned can be introduced directly into the grid, or if it has not, it can be converted into electricity by generators used in conjunction with Combined Heat and Power (CHP) gas engines. There is also the opportunity to generate heat energy in the form of hot water for example, for use in industrial process applications or for use in community heating networks.
At the end of the process, the digested material can be considered for use as fertilizer, which adds an additional revenue stream for the owner of an AD plant.
The design of the Wansheng modular bolted storage and containment solution allows flexibility to accommodate a variety of tank aspect ratios, process pressures, and temperatures that suit different AD processes, designs, and applications.

Features of  Integrated Membrane Roof
  1. GFS gives a high degree of protection throughout an AD digester, especially in the highly aggressive gaseous zone.
  2. Combining the inert characteristics of Wansheng's GFS coatings with the strength of steel, the flexibility of modular construction gives significant benefits over other types of digester construction.
