Pulsed Aeration with Xylem Edge Control

Xylem Edge Management: Elimination of Ammonia

Perfect for factories with an ammonia limit and meeting other OpEx reduction requirements, as well as the need to save energy. To meet different load situations, Ammonia Removal employs an innovative algorithm that produces constant ammonia removal and a stable biological process. Ammonia Removal can save energy even more by producing instances of simultaneous nitrification-denitrification (SNDN) under different conditions, in addition to precisely obtaining optimal ammonia concentrations. While maintaining alkalinity, an SNDN method can lead to a decrease in the amount of organic carbon used, reducing the requirement for carbon dosing.

Xylem Edge Management Ammonia + Nitrogen Removal: This makes it possible for the AvN® wastewater treatment process to minimize overall energy consumption while optimizing the removal of ammonia and total nitrogen (TN). When combined with simultaneous nitrification-denitrification (SNDN), the AvN® process can cause a biological phenomenon that has never been witnessed by the industry before.  While maintaining alkalinity, an SNDN environment minimizes OpEx by using less aeration (blower power) and making the most of organic carbon, which lowers the requirement for carbon dosing. The proprietary AvN® method can accelerate the denitrification process under SNDN by forming a biological shortcut. Carbon emissions and energy savings may come from this.
