A pneumatic actuator is an actuator that uses pneumatic pressure to open and close or regulate a valve. It is also known as a pneumatic actuator or a pneumatic device, but is most usually referred to as a pneumatic head. Pneumatic actuators may be equipped with auxiliary devices. A common valve positioner and hand wheel mechanism.
