Fouling and scaling can happen when the reverse osmosis unit is not working, especially on the concentrate side of the membrane. This is avoided by the concentrate flushing unit KSE, which, when the system is turned off, automatically opens a solenoid valve to dispense concentrate under the pressure of the feed water. Concentrated salt loads are kept from adhering to the membrane surface by flushing the membrane with raw water.
The reverse osmosis system is pre-assembled when the concentrate flushing unit is delivered.

Utilization of KSE Concentrate Flushing Unit

Recommendable if the RO is running with antiscale and the feed water has a tendency to scale or foul.
UO-S7 KR/FU, UO-D AS/FU, and UO-D BW/FU series already included
Optional for the UP-S7 FU series and UO-D (FU, CD) series
