Process, well, and drinking water are all treated with MF media filters that have Clack control valves. Contaminants including particulates, iron, manganese, suspended debris, and organic matter can be eliminated from water depending on the filter material selected. This is a time-controlled, automatic single filter system that backwashes raw water. During backwashing, downstream equipment can be turned off using a potential-free contact. The filter medium needs to be ordered separately and is not included.

Terms of usage:

There is less accessible unfiltered water for backwashing.
Water with sizes 900–2300 is temporarily unavailable when the main control valve is switched.
Installing a BP bypass valve is required if water is to be provided constantly.
Installing a service valve (BV) is required if only filtered water is to be delivered.
This is also required to provide adequate backwashing if the filtrate line is unpressurized.
An aeration and deaeration valve BEV must be installed whenever there is a chance that the filter will experience negative pressure (for example, while it is operating prior to a pressure increase or RO).
