Filter Media ATL-YP-S for Deep Bed Filter. ATL-YP-S is a buffered carbon designed for use in sugar decolorization plants.
It is mainly used in deep bed filters after Talofloc Talofloat Process for treated melt filtration.
ATL-YP-S is very effective in removing suspended solids present in treated melt and help to provide turbidity free sugar liquor after the filtration process.
It has advantages on the old method of filtration like Rotary pressure filters, Candle filters, Filter presses, etc.
It provides leak free method of filtration and also traps tiny particles which are not possible by other methods.
Hence it polishes the sugar liquor and provides sparkling clarity which results in good quality refined sugar free of haziness.
It also avoids use of filter cloth and filter aids ultimately decreasing cost of such products.
