ACC-4: CARBON BLOCK CARTRIDGES
ACC-4 Series cartridges have a high porosity design that helps prevent the cartridge from plugging before its adsorption capability is exhausted, maximizing the utilization of the carbon while maintaining a low-pressure drop. ACC-4 series Aquafilter Carbon Block filter cartridge for VOC reduction is manufactured by extrusion, using mix blend GAC granular activated carbon media for improved reduction of chlorine taste and odor, and high adsorptive capacity. The 5-micron carbon block is ideal for use as a reverse osmosis prefilter or postfilter.

Aquafilter offers FCCBL cartridges (FCCBL5, FCCBL, FCCBL10BB, FCCBL-L, FCCBL20BB) suitable for POU (Point of Use) and POE (Points of Entry) installations. Through its block-activated carbon media, FCCBL cartridges improve the bad taste and odor of your drinking water. By reducing the concentration of chlorine and organic compounds (VOCs), the FCCBL series enhances the continuous supply of fresh and clean drinking water.

Aquafilter FCCBL cartridges are highly effective at reducing unwanted taste, odor, and chlorine from potable drinking water. The unique structure of the carbon block enables it to reduce Organic Compounds, Pesticides, Herbicides, Trihalomethanes and Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs), Giardia, Cryptosporidium, Entamoeba, and Toxoplasma cysts, and fine sediment particles down to 5 microns.
FCCBL cartridges are manufactured using a patented process and made entirely from FDA and NSF-compliant materials.
They are an ideal choice for a wide range of residential, food service, commercial and industrial applications. They also make excellent polishing filters or pre-filters in applications requiring fine filtration and high capacity.
The AQUAFILTER FCCBL cartridge is made of extruded food-grade activated carbon.
Purpose:
Designed to purify water from chlorine, organics, and microorganisms. Recommended for pre-treatment of water.
IMPORTANT: Rinse the filter until the filtered water is clear (at least 2-5 liters). Do not use water that is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality without the necessary disinfection before or after the system. Cartridges are designed to filter only cold drinking water. We recommend regularly scheduled maintenance and replacement of the filter cartridge for proper product operation. Improper use, installation, and maintenance may result in property damage or flooding.
