ENC manufactures Ductile Iron Fabricated Flanged Pipes in any configuration to meet specific client requirements, covering nominal bores from 100 mm to 1000 mm and up to a maximum length of 5.9 m.All fabricated pipework is produced in compliance with ISO 2531 / EN 545 standards, using Class 40 or K9 barrels as standard. Pipes are available for both:
  1. EN 545 – Potable water applications
  2. EN 598 – Sewage and wastewater applications
  3. Standard flange drilling options include PN10, PN16, and PN25 (upon request).
Manufacturing Methods
ENC manufactures flanged pipes using two methods:
  1. Cast Flanged Pipes
  2. Welded Flanged Pipes
Internal & External Protection
ENC provides a wide range of lining and coating options, tailored for specific fluids and applications. The most commonly used corrosion protection combinations are carefully selected to ensure durability and performance in diverse environments.

Applications of Flanged Pipes
Flanged joints, while rigid, can also act as restrained joints, reducing the need for thrust blocks and external restraining devices. 
Typical applications include:
  1. Over-ground pipelines & crossovers (roads, bridges, pillars, etc.)
  2. Vertical pipelines in treatment plants, pump houses, and elevated/overhead service reservoirs
  3. Water & sewage treatment plants, for interconnection of various units and accessories
  4. Pump houses for ease of assembly and disassembly
  5. Applications requiring pipeline disconnection or relocation

Compared to conventional flange pipes, ENC Ductile Iron Flanged Pipes offer significant advantages:

Specificationsm of ENC Ductile Iron Flanged Pipes
  1. Typical Use: Above-ground applications such as over-ground pipelines, treatment facilities, pumping stations, and fire mains
  2. Flange Ratings: PN10, PN16 (PN25 available on request)
  3. Note: Due to potential risks of excessive bending moments, flanged pipework is not recommended for buried installations
