The ZX is a cleanwater pump that is horizontal and self-priming. This type of self-priming centrifugal pump is superior to other types due to its straightforward construction, dependable operation, lack of defects, extended working hours, ease of maintenance and use, compact size, low weight, high efficiency, and unique design considerations. It has a high efficiency and a large flow rate when compared to pumps of the same diameter.
The ZX self-priming clean water pump performs better as an emergency pump in agricultural and industrial production as well as in rescue tasks like firefighting and drainage. Widely used for urban water supply in the petroleum, chemical, metallurgical, machinery, food, energy, and transportation sectors; it can also be used for irrigation and drainage in agriculture. For the transportation of clean water or other liquids that have comparable physical and chemical characteristics to clean water and have a viscosity of less than 5°E and a temperature below 80°C.
The water in the pump casing won't automatically drain when the motor stops, and the ZX self-priming clean water pump performs better at sealing than standard centrifugal pumps. A negative pressure, or vacuum, is rapidly created inside the pump by the motor driving the impeller to rotate at a high speed. The water is then forced into the pump casing by atmospheric pressure, resulting in centrifugal lift. The suction lift of a self-priming pump will therefore not be greater than one atmosphere, or roughly 11 m (theoretical suction).
