FilterClear is a pressure multimedia filter technology that can effectively remove suspended particles from a variety of fluids, even at high loading velocities. Currently, more than 100 locations have FilterClear systems built, which treat water types such as seawater at desalination facilities, cooling waters at industrial sites, and secondary effluent at wastewater treatment plants.

The range of throughput is 5 m3/hr to 5000 m3/hr. Pharmaceuticals, food and drink, cooling water, RO pre-treatment for a variety of industries, distilleries, and public buildings like apartments, offices, hotels, and hospitals are examples of commercial applications. Other multimedia filters, continuous filters, deep bed filters, disc filters, and micro screens are also reasonably priced alternatives to FilterClear technology. It can take the place of ultrafiltration membranes upstream of RO membranes and has a solid track record in traditional filtration applications.
