Through the use of integrated pressure-reducing pilot valves, the hydraulic control valve known as the SPS "PR" model pressure reducer control valve lowers high upstream pressure values to the necessary lower pressure values. The downstream pressure value is continually controlled and maintained by the pressure reducer control valve, independent of the upstream pressure values and flow rate. The system automatically closes itself when there is no flow. T automatically opens entirely when the valve's upstream pressure value falls below the adjusted downstream pressure value. In the system, valves can be used in both vertical and horizontal orientations.
