Models & Installation
A wall connector is made up of an aluminum alloy cast part, a stainless punched part, and a rubber part. It is used to connect the inner and outer pipes of airtight containers, such as the connection between the blowing tube of a pulse jet bag-house and a rectangular pulse valve (batten wall mounted) and a submerged electromagnetic pulse valve and outlet pipe (head tank mount). It may be fixed and sealed without welding and is easy to install and maintain.
A wall connector allows gas to flow freely and seals the container attached to the pipe. However, it should not be utilized to support components such as the attached pipe or container. The user should take consistent activities to assist them.
The installation
Figures 24–29 show how to install different wall connector models. Please note that these figures are for reference only and may vary depending on the application. When installing them, users should pay attention to the following aspects: The hole in the batten wall or head tank should be the right size. Too small diameters make installation difficult and may cause thread damage. Too large sizes will have an impact on the seal and its position. Locate the parts appropriately during installation, especially the seal piece. Otherwise, the airtight property will be compromised. When the product is delivered, the producer has applied sealing glue (which remains effective after numerous disassembly and reassembling) to the threads that must be sealed. Proper tightening of the pieces may assure the seal. For easy installation of the slip head wall connector, correctly apply the lubricant before inserting the wall-crossing pipe through the valve's seal washer. There should be no material between the threads. Apply lubrication as needed. To avoid thread damage, tighten the crossing pipe and nut properly.
