For non-pressurized tanks, the absorption filter is comprised of a PVC container filled with granular material that takes up CO2 from the surrounding air. When filled, the filling becomes blue and needs to be changed.
Terms of usage:
When utilizing a CO2 absorption filter, the tank needs to have a water seal instead of an overflow.
The CO2 absorption filter's neutralizing agent needs to be changed as soon as the bluish discoloration covers about 70% of the volume.
