For detecting the amount of flow in circuits that contain water, use a water meter with a pulse generator. The amount of water flowing through determines how much of a pulse is produced. As a dry runner, the multi-jet impeller meter is intended to operate. The impeller's rotating action is transferred to a constantly totalizing roller counter via a magnetic coupling. The pre-set quantity is reached by the cast-waterproof built-in contactor, or REED contact. Unit sizes 30 have a flange connection, and sizes 5 through 20 have a brass screw connection.
