The PTFE expansion joint combines metal and fluoroplastic characteristics to provide the most modern, adaptable expansion joint on the market today. This product was created to suit the process piping requirements of high-technology, chemical/petrochemical, power generation, pulp and paper, and other demanding industries. This flexible expansion joint will:

  • Pipe movement and stress should be absorbed.
  • Mechanical vibration should be isolated.
  • Protect against surge forces by reducing system noise.
  • In many high-temperature applications, it is a problem-solving product. 
The PTFE expansion joint ellows in conjunction with a PTFE lining formed into the bellows during manufacturing. Working temperatures of -300°F to +400°F are possible with PTFE expansion joints, as are bellows rated for working pressures of 50, 150, or 300 psi.
