A Nema 34 stepper motor has a faceplate size of 3.4 x 3.4 inch (86 x 86 mm). Nema 34 high torque stepper motors provide excellent pricing while sacrificing no quality. These motors are designed to produce maximum torque while minimising vibration and audible noise. There is a large choice of motor windings and stack lengths available, or the motors can be customised to match your machine's needs.

A stepper motor General technological specifications:

  1. The stepping motor is employed in low-speed situations where the speed does not exceed 1000 revolutions per minute (6666PPS at 0.9 degrees), preferably between 1000-3000PPS (0.9 degrees), and it can be used in conjunction with a decelerating device. Currently, the motor has a good working efficiency and produces little noise.
  2. It is better not to use the stepping motor in full-step mode because the vibration is excessive in full-step mode.
  3. The voltage value in the motor specification is not the driving voltage volt value. The specific driving voltage can be chosen based on the stepper driver (recommendations: 42 and below motors use 12-24V, 57 motors use DC 24V-48V, 86 motors use DC 48-80V, and 110 motors require more than DC 80V).
  4. A big frame size motor should be chosen for loads with high moments of inertia.
