Backwash Valves that enables the autonomous and independent backwash of each filter station
Working principle

Filtration phase:

- The anti-clogging deflector Azud helix throws the heavy particles away from the disc stack.
- Water flows Out-In through the compressed discs stack via the channels created between the discs, trapping bigger particles than the filtration degree

SELF-CLEANING PHASE

• Automatic backwash is activated by pressure differential, time or an external electrical signal.
• Filtered pressurized water flows In-Out and realises the discs stack, while high-speed water flows through the spray nozzles creating a tangential cleaning effect, flushing out the trapped particles.
