Protection & applications of Air Vent Valve
For the container cover with holes, the gas will pass through the porous expanded polytetrafluoroethylene (ePTFE) permeable film and escape through the holes on the container cover, while preventing liquids and particles from entering the packaging. The porous expanded polytetrafluoroethylene (ePTFE) permeable membrane prevents pressure accumulation by continuously balancing the pressure difference between the internal and external environment of the container.
The gas will travel through the porous expanded polytetrafluoroethylene (ePTFE) permeable film to the area above the permeable film for the non-porous container cover. It will then be directed to the screw position of the container cover to escape, keeping liquids and particles out of the packaging. By continuously adjusting the pressure differential between the container's internal and external environments, the porous expanded polytetrafluoroethylene (ePTFE) permeable membrane stops pressure buildup.
