Chemical dosing pumps are small, positive displacement pumps made to deliver chemicals or other materials into a stream of gas or water at a highly precise flow rate. These dosing pumps function by transferring a specific volume of liquid into the chamber and then putting the chemical into tanks or pipes that hold the fluid to be dosed. The pump uses a controller that navigates the pumps (controls flow rate) and turns the power on and off. It is primarily powered by electric motors or an aeration actuating element.
