Although certain of Hach's membrane filtration (MF) media may be applicable in other contexts, they are designed especially for use with membrane filtration techniques. There are several prepared agar plates, broths in tubes, bottles, and ampules, as well as the novel mColiBlue24 broth and entire prepared medium (simultaneous findings for total coliforms and E. coli). m-TGE, m-FC, m-Endo, m-TEC, bright green, m-Green, A-1, m-HPC, nutrients with MUG, R2A, tryptic soy, and others are examples of media types.
