Semi-Modular Termination at Medium Voltage
Pre-molded cable termination suitable for both indoor and outdoor use with XLPE, EPR, and any polymeric insulation cable up to 52 kV.
Termination of High-Voltage Transmission
The 69 TCT Termination is manageable and lightweight. Without the need for a crane, it can be put together horizontally on the ground and then raised to the installation site. Installation using a standard assembly or tension device can be completed without the need for specialized training. Standard cable support systems are compatible with the 69 TCT. A termination suitable for cable systems rated up to 72.5 kV is offered by the 69 TCT Termination.
It is compliant with IEC 60840. Solid dielectric cables with insulation diameters between 37 and 84 mm are intended for use with this terminator. There are several lugs available for connecting the conductor. Porcelain glaze damage failures are eliminated by the long-lasting elastomer construction. Modern shed designs guarantee a non-continuous drip route, and grease or oil is needed for the non-tracking polymer.
