The cotton filter, or first stage:
It is composed of a polypropylene cotton candle that eliminates solid pollutants including rust, sand, clay, and algae, purifying water up to 5 microns.
The granular carbon stage, or second stage:
Its purpose is to remove dissolved gases and purify water by eliminating undesirable elements including taste, smell, color, and chlorine. It is composed of thermally activated carbon.
The salt filter, or third stage:
It is referred to as a membrane. With pores as small as 0.0001 microns, it uses the osmosis property to remove germs 100% of the time and salts and heavy metals 96% of the time using a mechanical expulsion rate that doesn't involve the use of chemicals.
The post-carbon fourth stage:
Any flavor or smell that remains after the water is stored in the tank is eliminated by a carbon filter constructed of coconut shells.
