The iron and manganese removal device is made up of a main body, an ejection aeration device, an intermediate booster pump, a recoil pump, a control system, a water supply pump, and a pipeline network system. To extract iron and manganese from groundwater, this equipment employs the most recent worldwide technology, the "active biofilm contact oxidation method". After the iron and manganese-containing sewage is aerated, the iron ions in the water start to oxidize. Water travels through the manganese sand and filter layer, due to the chemical action of the filter material and the iron (manganese) bacteria on the surface of the filter. The biochemical consequences of iron chiridi, unicellular iron bacteria, Trichoderma rust, and so forth.
Biochemical melon begins to form in the filter material layer, and the contact oxidation reaction, as well as physical retention and adsorption, can significantly accelerate the oxidation, fixation, and removal of iron and manganese from water. Iron (manganese) bacteria can successfully take iron and manganese from groundwater, as well as use ammonia nitrogen in water as a nutritional source for reproductive replenishment. The removal of iron and nitrogen from ammonia. The treated water contains less than 0.3 mg of iron and 0.1 mg of manganese per liter.
The iron and manganese removal equipment consists mostly of filter equipment, pipework, KTG oxygenation equipment, a water pump, a water tank, and other components. The processing subject is a filtering mechanism. The iron and manganese removal equipment is commonly used in mineral water, pure water pretreatment to remove iron and manganese precipitation, geothermal engineering and swimming pool engineering, domestic water, textile industry water, and paper industry water.
Principles of operation

  • The iron and manganese removal device works by oxidizing the low-valent iron and manganese ions in the water to high-valent iron and manganese ions, which are then removed by adsorption and filtration to reduce the iron and manganese content of the water. The filter material consists of refined quartz sand and refined manganese sand. Manganese dioxide (MnO2), the primary component of refined manganese sand, serves as an effective catalyst for the oxidation of ferrous iron to ferric iron. The refined manganese sand contains a high concentration of MnO2, which has an excellent iron removal effect.
  • The pH of groundwater containing iron and manganese is more than 5.5, and Fe2+ can be oxidized to Fe3+ when in contact with refined manganese sand. In addition to the catalytic action, a layer of iron filter film progressively forms on the surface of the refined manganese sand filter material during filtration, acting as an active filter film and capable of catalyzing. The active filter membrane is made of R-type ferric hydride R-FeO(OH), which can undergo an ion exchange reaction with Fe2+ and replace the equivalent hydrogen ions.
