The completely automatic shallow filtration system is made up of numerous standard high-speed sand tank units, each with its own water distributor and collector, as well as a unique two-way automatic flush valve that allows for multiple standard high-speeds to be achieved during normal system operation. The sand tank is backwashed one by one using fully automatic program control. It offers the characteristics of low backwash water consumption, easy equipment installation, and simple operation. The device has a high flow rate and doesn't require any maintenance. Vertical and horizontal series are available to meet the needs of various users. It can be used to improve the water quality of industrial and civil circulating water systems.
How it works.
When the system is in the filtering mode, the unfiltered water is equally distributed by the self-developed unique water distributor, and the water flows laminarly through the filter's packing layer (refined uniform-grained quartz sand/garnet). When water passes through the packing layer, contaminants are trapped. There are a number of evenly distributed water collectors at the bottom of the filter, the filtered water is evenly collected and drawn out, and advective filtration allows the filter to filter at a high flow rate while still providing a good filtering effect. Backwash State: As impurities accumulate in the packing layer, internal head loss will increase. 
When the input and outlet water's head loss reaches the predetermined level, the system will activate the constant pressure mechanism, causing the backwashing to begin. When the backwashing is finished, the hydraulic valve adjusts the direction of the water supply to do the backwashing one by one, which is more convenient. Clean away any accumulated pollutants. When the system is backwashing, filtration continues; however, the standard unit sand tank to be backwashed is not filtered, and the other standard unit sand tanks in the system continue to filter. A portion of the filtered clean water is utilized to backwash the standard unit sand tank, while the remainder is still provided to the user. Backwash sewage is discharged through the hydraulic valve's backwash drain. 

The innovative water collector design in the high-speed sand tank automatic high-efficiency filtering system allows the fillers to rub against each other, maximizing backwashing efficiency, reducing the amount of backwashing water required (clean water), and eliminating the runaway problem while backwashing. Backwashing a normal unit sand tank takes 2 minutes. After backwashing, the pressure head loss inside the standard unit sand tank is reduced to a manageable level. The constant pressure device sends a recovery signal, and the hydraulic valve returns to its filtering state.
