The DW 181 is an inline flow controller that indicates the flow of homogeneous clean liquids without the use of external electricity. It is appropriate for both horizontal and vertical pipes. G or NPT threaded connectors with sizes ranging from sup>34...2′′ are available for the flow controller. Both the measuring tube and the connection are constructed of bronze or stainless steel (1.4404 /316 L).

There are two sorts of indicators: a linear scale with up to two alarm places at the top and bottom of the indicator, and a dial.
The DW 181 is ideal for low-cost flow detection in a variety of applications where high accuracy is not required. It can handle flows of up to 30,000 l/h (132.09 GPM in the US). A high-temperature variant is also available for operation temperatures up to +300°C / +570°F.

The DW 181 is offered in three versions: non-hazardous, intrinsically safe, and explosion-proof.
