The DW 184 is an insertion-type flow controller for measuring liquid flow velocity without the use of external power. It is ideal for horizontal and vertical pipes with a diameter of DN250 / 10′′. Flanges are available in DN150 (PN16/40) or 6" (ASME Cl 150/300). Stainless steel (1.4404 / 316 L) is used for the internals. The indicator has a linear scale with alarm places at the top and bottom.
The DW 184 is ideal for low-cost flow detection in a variety of applications that do not require great accuracy. It can handle flow rates of up to 4 m/s (13.1 ft/s). A high-temperature variant is available for operation temperatures up to +300°C / +570°F. The mechanical flow controller is available in three versions: non-hazardous, intrinsically safe, and explosion-proof.
