Measuring Principle of of Flange Electromagnetic Flowmeter:

Faraday's Law serves as the foundation for the measurement principle of an electromagnetic flowmeter.Electromagnetic induction is the process by which a voltage is induced when an electrical conductor passes through a magnetic field.The following equation applies to the induced voltage: U = kBVD, where, U Induced voltage, k Instrument constant, B Magnetic field strength, and V Conductor velocity.D In an electromagnetic flowmeter, the medium functions as an electrical conductor as it flows through the meter tube, and the induced voltage is proportional to the average flow rate and velocity.A pair of electrodes (placed in the meter tube) detect induced voltage and transfer it to a flow transmitter, which generates a variety of standardized output signals. The transmitter calculates flow volume based on pipe cross-sectional area.
