Since 2004, VONTRON has been working on 8 major scientific programs, including the National High-Tech and R&D Program (863 program), National Si. &Tech Support Program, and National Key R&D Program, among others. VONTRON serves as the R&D and application platform of the National and Local Joint Engineering Center for Separation Membrane Materials and Application Technology. 146 patents, including 65 innovation patents, have been granted to the corporation. 12 national and industrial standards have been prepared by VONTRON, and of those, 3 national standards that have already come into effect had a significant contribution from VONTRON.
