Commercial and industrial membrane water treatment systems are intended to employ antiscalant.

This wastewater treatment process follows the steps listed below.
  • A wide-spectrum antiscalant intended to prevent the production of inorganic scale during membrane separation procedures.
  • Prevents the scaling of calcium carbonate up to a 2.2 Calcium Carbonate Nucleation Index (CCNI).
  • Effectively prevents the production of silica, barium sulfate, strontium sulfate, calcium sulfate, and calcium fluoride.
  • Disperses silt, clay particles, and existing metal oxides and hydroxides while stabilizing metal ions to stop metal oxides from precipitating.
  • All of the major membrane manufacturers have approved its use.
  • Environmentally friendly, particularly in cases where trash release into the environment is an issue.
Safety and Handling
Keep out in a dry, cool area. Use caution and steer clear of prolonged or frequent skin contact as well as contact with the eyes in accordance with proper safety practices. DOT does not classify AS-102 as a hazardous material. Refer to the safety data sheet that comes with the product for additional details.
Feeding and Control of Chemicals
Before the last cartridge filter, it is often given constantly. It should be injected straight from the drum to the feedwater line or via a chemical dosing pump from a dilution tank. The quality of the feed water and the membrane system's operating parameters determine how much AS-102 is needed to prevent scale formation. To find out the precise control range and approximate dosage rate for your membrane system, review the operating handbook or speak with a water treatment professional from Applied Membranes, Inc.
