The high rejection rate membrane elements in the SM SW-HR series were created for seawater desalination and can guarantee a stable high rejection rate over an extended period of time while maintaining the required flux. The following standard test conditions are used to determine the flux and rejection rate: 5.5 MPa (800 psi) pressure, 77°F (25°C), 32000 ppm NaCl solution, pH 8 for the feedwater, and 8% recovery.

Maximum Operating Pressure 83 bar (1200 psi)
Maximum Operating Temperature 45°C (113°F)
Maximum Element Pressure Drop 1.0 bar (15 psi)
pH Range Continuous Operation 2-11
pH Range Short-Term Cleaning 1-13
Maximum Feed SDI (SDI) 5.0
Free Chlorine Tolerance < 0.1 ppm

Features of the High Rejection SWRO Membrane:
  1. High rejection rate and high rate of boron removal.
  2. Increased cross-linking degree and sheet thickness to guarantee membranes' chemical resistance and service life.
  3. Use the short membrane sheet length design to lower the membrane fouling rate and boost the effective area utilization rate.
