Utilize empty spaces to their fullest.
An establishment that uses photovoltaic solar panels set out on the ground to generate solar energy is called a ground-mounted solar farm, sometimes referred to as a solar park.  Ground-mounted solar farms are usually larger and can span many hectares, in contrast to rooftop solar installations.  The establishment of a solar farm is especially appropriate for flat, open terrain of many hectares, which are frequently degraded sites like contaminated sites, abandoned quarries, or landfills, for example, or subterranean water retention basins. By safeguarding crops, solar farms can also be erected on agricultural land, providing a dual use (agrivoltaics).
To distribute the electricity produced, ground-mounted solar farms are connected to the current electrical system. The produced green electricity can either be supplied into the power grid to meet regional energy demand or used locally for self-consumption. Under specific circumstances, such as land ownership, a grid connection agreement, and adherence to urban planning laws, photovoltaic solar farms are available to all communities and companies.
